Reservations/Cancellations: You can cancel free of charge 7 days prior to your check-in date. You will be charged a one-night stay deposit at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or change your reservation, please give us a call or send us an email. If you made a reservation through a third party (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) please contact them directly to make changes to your reservation.
Check-in anytime after 3:00 PM, however you are welcome to arrive before then to drop your bags off (if the room is not ready). If we are away from the front desk when you arrive, we will reach out with self check-in instructions and leave a a packet on desk. Check-out: 11:00 AM. You are welcome to leave your bags at the house past check-out.
We do have stairs (no elevator) and can carry bags during business hours. If you arrive after hours, you can leave heavy bags by the fireplace and we will help carry them up in the morning.
We have several parking spots in a small lot at the end of the block. If you park in the lot, the charge is $15 a night There is also free street parking in the neighborhood - a map at the BnB details the free street parking options. When you arrive, pull over anywhere out front, ring the doorbell, and we will take you to parking. In the very rare even that our lot and street parking is full, Howard University offers a lot for $14.
